The program ends with the kids being asked this question: “Who is sick and tired of the pain?” (ie: of negativity, cruelty, insecurity, low self esteem, etc.) “Who wants to make a stand for character?”
At this point we ask those kids who chose to live a life emboldened with good character to stand in affirmation. The kids are then asked to make a public pledge to character by signing an 8’x10′ Measured By Character Banner that will later be placed in a prominent location in the school to serve as a reminder of both the character message and the commitment that they made to living a life filled with good character. The banners include the names and logos of all community sponsors who helped bring the program to their school.
